Application:

The product size characteristics of rod mill is related to crushing , in the grinding process , it first crush the coarse grain, and then grind the smaller ore, reducing the risk of overgrind. When the bar turn up with the liner plate, hold the coarse grain and make fine grain pass the gasp, this also is helpful to clip broken the coarse grain, and make coarse grain concentrate on grinding medium place. Therefore, the product of rod milling is uniform.
Features:
1. The grinding medium and ore material are line contact which there is selectivity for ore grinding.
2. It avoids over crushing for getting uniform granularity.
3. Rod mill has bigger capacity than other type ball mill when it is doing coarse grinding.
The rod mill is a horizontal rotating device transmitted by the outer gear. The materials are transferred to the grinding chamber through the quill shaft uniformly. There are ladder liner and ripple liner and different specifications of steel balls in the chamber. The centrifugal force caused by rotation of barrel brings the steel balls to a certain height and impact and grind the materials. The ground materials are discharged through the discharging board thus the grinding process is finished.
